Privacy Policy

Mog 1v1 uses your camera to scan a face and score it. Those photos never leave your phone. The app has no server, no accounts, and contains no networking code of any kind — there is nowhere for a photo to go.

We don't ask for your name, your email, or your phone number. We don't have a database with your name in it, because we don't run a database at all.

What the app handles

Everything Mog 1v1 touches, and where it goes:

Camera preview On device The live viewfinder you see while lining up a scan. It is drawn on screen and never recorded or transmitted.

The photo you scan On device Captured into the app's memory so it can be analyzed. If you don't save the battle, it is discarded when you leave the screen.

Face measurements On device Landmark positions and proportions used to calculate the score. Detection runs through Google's ML Kit face detection with the model bundled inside the app — it works in airplane mode and sends nothing to Google.

Saved battle photos On device When you save a battle to your history, the photos from it are compressed and written into the app's own private storage, which no other app can read. The app keeps your 100 most recent battles and drops older ones automatically.

Scores and battle history On device The ratings, who won, and when. Stored alongside the saved photos on your phone until you delete them.

Campaign progress On device A single number recording how far you've got. Not a profile.

Whether you've purchased On device A yes/no flag, remembered so the app works offline. Your payment details never reach the app — Google Play handles the transaction.

The purchase itself Sent to Google If you buy something, Google Play processes the payment and tells the app whether you're entitled to the paid features. This is the only part of the app that talks to anything outside your phone.

Your photos never leave the device

This is worth stating plainly, because it's unusual for an app that scans faces: there is no upload. Mog 1v1 contains no code to make a network request. No image, no measurement, and no score is ever sent to us or to anyone else. We could not look at your photos if we wanted to.

Face detection is done by a model that ships inside the app itself and runs on your phone's own processor. Put the phone in airplane mode and every scanning and scoring feature still works exactly the same.

Photos are also never written to your camera roll or shared gallery. They live only in the app's private storage, which Android walls off from every other app on the phone.

Why the app asks for internet access

Android will show you that Mog 1v1 requests internet access, and we'd rather explain that than let you wonder. That permission is required by Google Play's billing library so purchases can be processed. The app makes no requests of its own — no analytics pings, no image uploads, no telemetry.

What we don't do

No accounts, logins, names, or email addresses.
No analytics or usage tracking of any kind.
No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
No crash or performance reporting.
No face recognition, and no attempt to identify who anyone is — the app measures proportions in an image, it does not match faces against any database.
No facial data retained anywhere but your own phone, and none of it shared or sold.
No tracking you across other apps or websites, and nothing sold or shared with data brokers.
No location data, contacts, or calendar access.

Purchases

In-app purchases are sold and processed by Google Play. Google handles the payment and tells the app one thing: whether you're entitled to the paid features. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Google account.

Manage or cancel a purchase in your Google Play account settings — not in this app, which has no ability to charge you.

Your choices

Don't grant the camera. Deny the camera permission, or revoke it later in your phone's settings. Scanning is the core of the app, so it won't have much to do — but nothing is captured.
Don't save a battle. If you don't save it, the photo is discarded rather than written to storage.
Delete your history. Clearing your battle history in the app deletes the saved photos with it.
Delete everything at once. Uninstall the app, or use Android's Clear storage option in App info. Everything the app has ever kept lives in its private storage and is removed with it.

Because we hold nothing about you on any server, there is nothing for us to look up, export, or delete on your behalf — deleting on your device is a complete deletion. If you're covered by the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA/CPRA, the rights those laws give you (access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of sale or sharing) are satisfied by this: we hold no personal data to act on, and we don't sell or share any.

A note on what the scores mean

Mog 1v1 is entertainment. The ratings it produces come from a fixed formula applied to facial proportions in a photo. They are not a medical, psychological, or objective assessment of any person, and they aren't reviewed by a human. Please don't treat them as one.

Children

Mog 1v1 isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing we'd hold about a child either.

Changes

If the app starts handling data differently, this page changes with it and the "last updated" date at the top moves. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes rather than made quietly. In particular, if a future version ever sends an image off the device, that will be stated here in plain language before it ships.
